Jazz in the Park Competition – Cluj-Napoca, Romania

The competition will take place between September 19^th -21^st in the Central Park in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. They structured it as a program dedicated to young jazz artists, as an answer to your own specific needs: freedom to perform, financial support, and exposure.

Jazz in the Park Competition:

• Is an open-air festival structured like a competition.
• Is free of charge for the public, so we’re expecting an attendance of up to 20.000 people per day.
• Has no submission fee for artists.
• Offers guaranteed fees, transport budget, accommodation, and meals for the selected finalists.
• Has money awards, and future bookings for gigs at other festivals in Romania and Europe.

Discovering the Cluj audiences for the first time was a highlight of our year, and we’ve sought to come back to Romania as often as possible ever since.
